Position Overview
The Catalyst Technical Lead is a senior implementation expert within XTEL's Professional Services Catalyst team, responsible for defining, governing, and enabling the technical implementation approach for XTEL platform programs. This role ensures that technical delivery follows XTEL standards, reusable integration and data patterns, architectural best practices, and the unified template-based implementation model. Working across customer projects, internal enablement, and partner-led programs, this role drives technical consistency, reduces implementation effort, and accelerates deployment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Define and govern the target technical implementation architecture for XTEL platform deployments, ensuring alignment with XTEL standards for integrations, data flows, environments, interfaces, and security
Champion the technical application of XTEL's standardized unified template-based implementation model, promoting a standard-first approach and reducing bespoke development
Support pre-sales and services teams in shaping implementation scope, contributing to effort estimates for technical workstreams including data migration, integrations, and technical configuration
Create and maintain technical implementation playbooks, architecture guidelines, integration patterns, environment setup standards, and training content
Provide technical oversight and delivery assurance on strategic, complex, or partner-led implementation projects, reviewing solution designs and implemented code for quality and compliance with XTEL standards
Coach partner architects, technical consultants, and project teams on implementation quality, issue prevention, and architecture decision-making
Identify technical delivery risks early and define mitigation or remediation plans
Feed implementation lessons back into the continuous improvement of standard technical assets and reference models
Qualifications
Strong experience in enterprise application implementation and technical solution architecture, including system integration, data architecture, interface design, and deployment planning
Demonstrated experience creating reference architectures, technical standards, reusable components, and implementation accelerators
Strong effort estimation and delivery planning capability for technical workstreams
Ability to coach technical consultants, partner teams, and project leadership in a constructive delivery assurance model
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with the ability to simplify complex technical topics
Experience in SaaS, enterprise platforms, or packaged software implementation environments
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
Nice to Have
Experience in CPG and revenue management-related solution contexts
Familiarity with API/integration design, data migration, and enterprise systems landscapes in a CPG environment
