Position Overview
The Data Scientist supports the design and delivery of analytics and machine learning solutions by working with complex datasets, building tailored models, and contributing to scalable data pipelines. The role collaborates closely with technical, functional, product, and client stakeholders to develop robust solutions and help standardize analytics practices across projects.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and preprocess complex data sets from various sources to prepare them for analytics solutions.
Develop, implement, and fine-tune machine learning models tailored to specific project needs.
Collaborate with the team to build robust and scalable data pipelines.
Participate in client meetings to discuss technical results and gather feedback.
Work together with the functional team involved in the project, including business experts and the project manager.
Provide technical support and mentorship to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing within the team.
Work together with the product team to integrate developed solutions into our products.
Document processes and contribute to the standardization of analytics solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM fields, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
3-6 years of work experience in Data Science and Analytics.
Knowledge for Data Science, including Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Operations Research.
Strong knowledge of Python and main Machine Learning frameworks, such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, pandas, and NumPy.
Experience with object-oriented programming.
Practical experience in developing, validating, and tuning Machine Learning models.
Experience with cloud services to store data, build automated pipelines, and run analytics or machine learning solutions.
Experience with Databricks.
Familiarity with development tools such as VSCode or other IDEs, and Jupyter notebooks.
Knowledge of Git, including push, pull, fetch, and merge.
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex results clearly.
Strong analytical skills with a critical thinking attitude.
Proficient in English.

Experience with SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
