Catalyst Technical Lead
The Catalyst Technical Lead is a senior implementation expert responsible for defining, governing, and enabling the technical implementation approach for XTEL platform programs. This role ensures that technical delivery follows XTEL standards, reusable integration and data patterns, architectural best practices, and the unified template-based implementation model.
The Catalyst Technical Lead works across customer projects, internal enablement, and partner-led programs to increase technical consistency, reduce implementation effort, improve solution maintainability, and accelerate deployment outcomes. The role also contributes to technical methodology, packaged reusables, enablement programs, delivery assurance, and implementation scoping and estimation.
Key Objectives
The Catalyst Technical Lead is accountable for helping XTEL achieve the following objectives:
Support the scoping, planning, estimation, and contracting of customer implementation services for XTEL platform programs
Ensure technical best practices, reference architectures, implementation patterns, and reusable assets are applied consistently across implementations
Drive adoption of the standardized unified core template-based model to support low TCO, high maintainability, and rapid TTM
Produce, maintain, and evolve technical implementation methodology and training programs
Coach partner resources and delivery teams in a technical delivery assurance capacity
Key Responsibilities
Scoping, Estimation, and Commercial Support
Support pre-sales and services teams in shaping implementation scope and technical delivery assumptions
Contribute to effort estimates for technical workstreams including data migration, integrations, interfaces, technical configuration, and environment-related activities
Help define phased delivery plans, technical work packages, dependencies, and staffing assumptions
Provide technical input into statements of work, project plans, and implementation contracting discussions
Technical Architecture and Standards
Define and govern the target technical implementation architecture for XTEL platform deployments
Ensure alignment with XTEL standards for integrations, data flows, environments, interfaces, extensibility, security, and deployment approaches
Promote use of reusable technical patterns, packaged components, reference integrations, and implementation accelerators
Review technical designs and challenge unnecessary complexity, over-engineering, or non-standard solutions
Guide project teams toward architecture decisions that optimize scalability, supportability, performance, and upgradeability
Standardized Template-Based Delivery
Champion the technical application of XTEL’s standardized unified template-based implementation model
Ensure customer technical solutions are delivered with a standard-first approach wherever feasible
Reduce bespoke development by encouraging use of approved patterns, parameterization, templates, and reusable building blocks
Feed implementation lessons back into the continuous improvement of standard technical assets and reference models
Methodology, Reusables, and Technical Enablement
Create and maintain technical implementation playbooks, architecture guidelines, integration patterns, environment setup standards, technical checklists, and training content
Convert delivery experience into reusable technical assets and documented best practices
Support internal team enablement through coaching, knowledge sharing, and technical training
Contribute to the maturation of a repeatable and scalable technical implementation model across XTEL and its partners
Delivery Assurance and Partner Coaching
Provide technical oversight and assurance on strategic, complex, or partner-led implementation projects
Review technical solution designs, data, integration approaches, environment strategies, and implemented code for quality and compliance with XTEL standards
Coach partner architects, technical consultants, and project teams on implementation quality, issue prevention, and architecture decision-making
Identify technical delivery risks early and define mitigation or remediation plans

Technical Architecture Expertise
Strong experience in enterprise application implementation and technical solution architecture
Proven expertise in system integration, data architecture, interface design, technical deployment planning, and enterprise solution delivery
Strong understanding of implementation trade-offs related to standardization, extensibility, supportability, and lifecycle cost
Ability to define and assess scalable technical solution patterns across multiple customer contexts
Delivery and Implementation Skills
Experience leading technical design and implementation activities across full project lifecycles
Demonstrated experience creating reference architectures, technical standards, reusable components, and implementation accelerators
Strong effort estimation and delivery planning capability for technical workstreams
Experience assessing technical risks, dependencies, and implementation readiness
Ability to simplify complex technical topics for delivery teams, customers, and partners
Collaboration and Coaching Skills
Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to coach technical consultants, partner teams, and project leadership in a constructive delivery assurance model
Experience working cross-functionally with functional architects, project managers, product teams, and customer IT teams
Strong judgment, pragmatism, and ability to drive adoption of standard approaches in complex delivery environments
Professional Profile
Senior technical architect, integration architect, solution architect, or lead implementation specialist background
Experience in SaaS, enterprise platforms, or packaged software implementation environments
Familiarity with data migration, API/integration design, enterprise systems landscapes, and implementation governance
Experience in CPG and revenue management-related solution contexts is an advantage
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or equivalent practical experience
