Position Overview
At XTEL, we are seeking an experienced CloudOps Admin & Compliance Manager with a passion for enabling seamless cloud operations that supports our SaaS platform..
CloudOps Admin & Compliance Manager is in charge of coordinating cloud cost management, service lifecycle management, operational monitoring, cloud service business continuity and disaster recovery and improvement initiatives in these areas.
Working with outstanding technology and closely cooperating with DevOps engineers, Developers, Support Analysts, System administrators, Service Management you will communicate across different tech departments and educate people on cloud cost, security and scalability, anticipating their needs and understanding how they work together to fill in technology gaps with professional care.
Key Responsibilities
As a CloudOps Admin & Compliance Manager at XTEL, you will:
Monitor, extract and report cloud spend.
Manage cloud resources reservations.
Develop cloud spend reports and dashboards according to the needs of internal stakeholders.
Engage with internal teams/departments and lead cloud spend optimization initiatives, act as FinOps advocate.
Oversee infrastructure monitoring data.
Assess insights from monitoring and trigger action with concerned team, follow up and remove roadblocks as necessary.
Track service lifecycle management notifications from cloud providers, coordinate internal assessments, mobilize resources and coordinate execution.
Create and maintain access management policies and procedures, ensure adherence.
Outline business continuity and disaster recovery plans for cloud services.
Mobilize resources and coordinate testing of the BCR and DR plans.
Coordinate specific initiatives aimed at improving support and provisioning processes.
Champion initiatives for further development of cloud operations toolkit in the area of responsibility leveraging on the newest technologies.
Active representation of cloud operations services in ISO27001 and ISAE audits.
Report & manage identified risk in line with ISO 27001 and ISAE controls.
Preserve assets, information security and control structures.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in technical/STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) field or equivalent work experience.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in this type of role.
Understanding of various DevOps tools for developing digital pipelines.
Experience building automation scripts and PowerBI reports.
Knowledge of Cloud platforms and preferably Azure including but not limited to Azure Kubernetes Services, Log Analytics, Function Apps, Logic Apps, Storage accounts, Synapse Analytics, Analysis Services, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks.
Knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of Entra ID and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
Knowledge of Terraform and Terragrunt would be a plus
Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking protocols such as HTTP and DNS and understanding of all layers of a web services technology stack.
Knowledge of AI concepts, Python and Azure Foundry would be a plus.
Knowledge of FinOps practices would be a plus.
Solid technical troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Creative thinking attitude with a strong customer focus.
Ability to perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
Ability to partner with internal and Customer teams to drive improvements and drive goals and prioritization.
Fluent English.
