Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to be included in a new team focused on the development of the company's DWH. In this context s/he should analyze, design and manage robust data architectures that support our advanced analytics and business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, reporting, data-mesh and, in general, cloud-based data platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable data architectures to support business analytics and reporting needs.
Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and data pipelines.
Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to optimize data pipelines and ETL processes.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems.
Evaluate and integrate new data technologies and tools to enhance our data infrastructure.
Provide guidance and best practices for data management and governance.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
5+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database design.
Strong expertise in SQL, python, spark.
Experience with cloud-based data platforms, in particular Microsoft Azure.
Proficiency in ETL tools, orchestration, data integration technologies.
Solid understanding of data warehousing and data processing technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks.
Strong knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
