Data Engineer
XTEL’s core business relies on providing AI solutions in the form of Software as a Service (SaaS) to the CPG/FMCG market.
In this role, you will work on our client solutions, and you will oversee the health status of our delivery processes.
Through a structured training program, you will learn how our AI solutions work, and you will soon be able to perform both ordinary and extraordinary maintenance on the clients’ installations. Accordingly, your main responsibilities will include both schedulable activities and on-demand ones (such as troubleshooting and debugging, data extractions and/or validations, minor and major change requests). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep our AI systems healthy, valuable, usable and explainable, while managing feedback flow to ensure resilience and a proactive process.
We are looking for a motivated Data Engineer who will be looking for the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the delivery process and our deployed solutions.
What you will do:
· Initial Configuration: Technical setup and configuration of solutions for new clients.
· Routine Maintenance: Handling bug fixes and system upgrades.
· Special Maintenance: Implementing change requests to adapt software to evolving needs.
· Work on clients’ needs and issues through a ticketing system.
· Take care of the health status of data sources, pipelines and delivered solutions and manage the troubleshooting and debugging workflow.
· Connect with Project and Product Team and report feedback on the solution for future improvement.
Who you are:
· A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, STEM or related field. Equivalent experience will be taken into consideration.
· Proficiency in English.
· Good knowledge and understanding of coding practices.
· Proficiency in Python and SQL and confidence with mostly used data manipulation libraries (numpy, pandas).
· Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience. Data Management, Data Science, Analytics
Nice to have:
· Good communication and collaboration skills.
· Strong analytical skills with a critical thinking attitude.
· Knowledge of DevOps services and Azure Cloud ecosystem is a plus.
