Position Overview
As a Technical Product Owner at XTEL, you'll drive product success by collaborating with functional and technical teams to gather requirements for a domain-driven product. You'll create and maintain essential documentation, participate in agile ceremonies to enhance value delivery, while working closely with other teams to ensure seamless product development and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather requirements for a highly technical and data-driven product.
Define and maintain clear documentation on platform and AI models capabilities
Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring work aligns with platform strategy
Participate in agile ceremonies to maximize delivered value.
Drive structured user feedback collection and translate insights into platform enhancements
Work closely with AI teams and Data Engineering to enable advanced analytics ML workflows, and robust data pipelines
Required Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related technical field
2+ years of experience in product management or ownership for data-intensive or AI-driven software products
Demonstrated understanding of AI concepts, machine learning workflows, and the challenges of productizing AI models
Understanding of data engineering concepts and best practices for ensuring data quality
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
Curiosity and innovation mindset, with passion for AI technologies and modern data platforms
A great candidate will have
Knowledge of time series analysis, forecasting, or optimization algorithms
Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks
Familiarity with the CPG industry and Revenue Management processes
Product Ownership or Product Management certification
