Position Overview:
We are looking for a Frontend Architect to lead the design and evolution of our frontend systems and drive innovation in the FMCG space. As a Frontend Architect, you will be responsible for defining and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performing frontend architectures for our SaaS solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor developers, and ensure the delivery of exceptional user experiences. This is an opportunity to shape the technical direction of our frontend systems and make a significant impact on the future of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and modular frontend architectures using modern frameworks like React and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend architects to ensure seamless integration and user-centric solutions.
• Lead the development and adoption of best practices, coding standards, and design patterns across frontend teams.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve development efficiency and product quality.
• Ensure frontend applications are secure, performant, and optimized for scalability.
• Mentor and guide frontend developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Define and maintain technical documentation related to frontend architecture.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in frontend development, with at least 3 years in an architectural or leadership role.
• Expertise in modern frontend technologies such as React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization, security best practices, and responsive design.
• Experience with build tools and workflows like Webpack, Babel, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven experience transitioning monolithic applications into microservices-based architectures.
• Familiarity with micro-frontend architectures and component libraries.
• Proven ability to design frontend systems that are scalable, maintainable, and extensible.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with legacy system modernization and migration.
• Proficient in English.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with the FMCG or retail industry.

Location Preferences:

Our headquarters is located in Casalecchio di Reno, Bologna, and we offer hybrid work arrangements. While we will prioritize candidates who are based in Bologna and the surrounding areas for hybrid work, we are open to considering other options on a case-by-case basis.
